Hey all you F.O.F'ers Chuck here -------- I know. Born and raised in Pa. Rocked out here doing covers and originals until I was 22, then headed west. Landed in the windy city and for the next decade or so enjoyed the hell out of myself while working my ass off to be a rock star. Guess what? I'm not a filthy rich rock star. I'm just me. And that has landed me with some smoking crazy ass musicians back in Pa. Full circle and ready to entertain you the best we can. Had the opportunity to see and have great musical experiences in my life. I can't quit, so I might as well do the best I can, for you. F.O.F. needs you there ------- so get your asses out and enjoy the show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :).
George (Geo) Catania has been “PLEASANTLY POUNDING” for almost 43 years, with a backbeat second to NONE. Winner of the 1989 SKC, NY Music Awards for playing and production of one of the first digital CD’s recorded by an Independent label, presented by the band “Living Color”. Geo has made a name in the Business, and has played with bands like The Rawtones, The Luxuries, The Losers, The Horse You Rode In On, The Wild Knights, Usual Suspects and NOW F.O.F., and has opened for acts such as Allison Chains, Joe Piscopo, The Heartbreakers and an array of others, and still keeps an active hold on his ORIGINAL roots. ALWAYS playing, and teaching drums to a student base consisting of under-privileged and Handicapped students. Since the age of 6, he began playing, and has ALWAYS rendered the likes of drummers such as Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, John Bonham, Bill Ward, Barriemore Barlow, Prairie Prince and Tommy Aldrich to name a few. Originally from Queens NY, many areas in NJ, and now Pa. for 20 years, and still delighting audiences with a heart POUNDING beat to dance with.
Ralph this man takes Cooking Bass to a new level. Coming from NJ he has been playing for 25 yrs. But took time off during the 80’s. Guess he didn’t like big hair. When playing and not worry about big hair “Black Fate” was the Act of the day. Sharing the stage w/ the likes of Thin Lizzy, Bonham, & The Exies. Influences come from a wide variety, from John Paul Jones,to Flea,& a new twist Tony Levin. Playing thru a massive Eden Stack this man holds no quarter when it comes to being Bottom heavy.
2 Bands that have performed w/ here in Pocono's " Innocent Bystander " & " Wild Knights " these bands were so much fun & great times. One time really stands out, When we all turned and SILLY STRINGED THE DRUMMER. |
